The new regulation affecting tattoo inks came into force in Europe in January 5th 2022. Long story short, some ingredients of colored pigments have been replaced by safer versions, and now all colors with REACH Certificates are considered safe for tattooing by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
All colors used in our shop are accompanied by REACH certificates.

After your appointment with us you will receive an aftercare kit, with written instructions on how to heal your tattoo properly .
Congratulations! You just got tattooed!
Your tattoo is an open wound and you must take care of it in a certain way for it to heal properly and avoid infections.
When your tattoo is finished your artist will cover it with a special film called “second skin” or with the traditional foil roll.
Keep the foil on for at least 3-4 hours before taking it off. Clean your tattoo with water and green soap, in gentle circular motions, rinse your tattoo and tap it with kitchen paper towel to dry. Apply new foil and sleep with the foil on for the first night. In the case of second skin remove it after 1-2 days, if it came off remove it sooner. The removal should be gentle , and you can help it with water if its too sticky. Wash as described above.
After that depending on the size of the tattoo you can either keep it wrapped for the following two days, making sure that you change the wrap every 4 hours and clean and dry it properly in between. Or keep it open, washing it at least twice a day, taking extra care of everything that comes in contact with your tattoo (you hands, your clothes must be clean and without fiber – no woolen clothes)
Apply a small amount of cream (tattoo moisturizing cream, coconut oil, any other moisturizing cream without scent and color), two or three times a day, just enough to shine, too much is not recommended. You can apply the cream after the first 2-3 days, when you start feeling that the tattoo is closing and it starts to feel dry- itchy. The first days we want the tattoo to close first and then comes the need of moisturizing.
Repeat the process of cleaning and moisturizing until you see your tattoo has fully recovered.
Keep the tattoo clean – washing and avoiding contact with anything dirty. Take extra care if you have pets, don’t sleep with them for a week, keep your clothes hair free with a roller etc.
Avoid working out for at least a week, sweat and dirty equipment increase the risk of infection.
Observe your tattoo frequently and inform us if you see something unusual, aka redness, pimples or anything that might concern you. Even if we do our best there is still sometimes the risk of infection. But do not worry, if you follow the instructions it is highly unlikely that your tattoo will get infected, and even if it does, the treatment is easy and effective.
DO NOT : Scratch your tattoo, remove the crust when it comes off, soak your tattoo in water for 3 weeks (no swimming) , and keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight for a couple of weeks
After it heals, take care of your skin with sunscreen to help the tattoo stay sharp for as long as possible
Send us a photo or pass by the shop after at least one month to check out how that tattoo settled.

When we get tattooed we are asking our body to do us a favor, endure pain and heal our tattoo afterwards.
Make sure you take care of your body before you get tattooed to ensure the most comfortable experience possible.
Take a long shower, clean your skin thoroughly to remove dead cells. Moisturizing is also good. You don’t have to shave the area, we can do that for you to avoid irritation.
Do not drink alcohol the previous night, hangover just makes everything worse.
Get a good night sleep the night before.
Eat well. Eat a nice big breakfast, bring snacks if your session is long. Please no garlic!
We can always order in as well.
Stay hydrated. We also offer beverages and of course water!
Wear suitable clothes. Think of your tattoo placement and wear something that can keep the area exposed, but also keep you warm if its winter. You can wear a jumper the other way if your tattoo is on your back. Or bring a long scarf to cover areas of your body you don’t exposed. Avoid white or light colored clothes as they might get ink drops.
Think about the picture! Pictures are big part of our work, if you want you can wear something nice to help the picture game and this will be highly appreciated.
Inform us if theres something we should know about you , like your pronouns or anything else that might require a special care from our side, we are happy to make this experience as good as possible for you.
If you must, bring only one friend to the appointment, keep in mind they might get super bored!
Inform us if you are ill, we can always reschedule!
